Agency status
Local Auto Insurance LLC is an independent insurance agency. We are not an insurance company and do not underwrite policies ourselves. We represent multiple carriers and work on your behalf to compare options available through our appointments.
Licensing
Our agency and producers are licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Individual agent license numbers (NPN) may be provided upon request or shown on team profiles where published. You can verify Massachusetts producer licenses through the Division of Insurance or the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR).
Compensation
Like most independent agencies, we are typically compensated by the insurance carriers whose products we place, usually through commissions. Compensation may vary by carrier and product. Our recommendations are based on coverage fit, carrier appetite, and your stated needs — not solely on commission.
Quotes, binders & coverage
- Quotes are estimates and may change after underwriting review.
- Coverage is not bound until confirmed by a licensed agent during normal business hours and accepted by the carrier.
- Policy documents from the issuing carrier control coverage terms, exclusions, and conditions.

Claims
We can help you report a claim and coordinate with your carrier. Claim decisions, payments, and coverage determinations are made by the insurance company according to the policy.
Non-English assistance
We offer service in English and Spanish (Se habla español). If you need another language, tell us and we will do our best to accommodate or arrange assistance.
